Dear kayzzaman,

Was that  a story
Or a poem ???

Meaning was good !

One thing I'm really amazed ...
Is the title you have used for the post
'Oh, Old Guard' - Even if the guard is an eighty year old
His spirits must be really young and kicking...

This is a post to celebrate him !!!!!

If he remained an eternal guard
Shouldn't the title be 'Oh, Forever Young Guard' !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No doubt the Old guard comes alive out of the 'past'.
But where is the 'poem' in it, one may ask.

one things for sure you do know your alpha's and make good use of them too. Prose n poetry arent everybodys cuppa tea but yours truly deserves the attentions its not getting!

Glad I dropped by when I did

"Flowers will wither in your memory "must be changed as"Flowers will bloom in your memory"
Hope you may agree.
The old guards have been paid a fitting tribute in your poem.
